The
hottest real estate market in South Florida today is Uptown
Miami, a 25 block stretch along Biscayne Blvd. and the Bay,
between the Design District to the north and the new Performing
Arts Center to the south.
Known as Miami's heart of the arts, the neighborhood is exploding
with new restaurants, boutiques, galleries and cafés, with
over $1 billion in new development attracting over 6000 new
residents in the condominiums and apartments now being built.
This is the home of blue
Located in an area that is undergoing a development renaissance
including new restaurants, clubs, shops, and galleries, the
330-unit tower is the first project for Hyperion Development
Group, a partnership between high-tech legends, Jim Clark and
Thomas Jermoluk of Netscape and Silicon Graphics fame, and
Paul Murphy, well-known local builder-developer. "Blue
is the landmark that will announce the gateway to Uptown Miami
for travelers between the beach and the international airport," states
Jermoluk, "so it had to be visually stunning."
Designed by architects Bernardo Fort-Brescia and Laurinda
Spear, founders of world-renowned Arquitectonica, Blue's unique
design will provide every residence an unobstructed panoramic
view of Biscayne Bay, the Design District, Miami Beach and
the ocean. Alison Spear, the well-known Miami and New York
designer, will be designing many of the residential interiors.
A curving drive that circles under a porte cochere bordered
by a glass block waterfall is a prelude to the sleek, lobby
that awaits featuring floor-to-ceiling glass walls and marble
floors. The 6th floor Sky Deck overlooks Biscayne Bay and will
offer indoor and outdoor amenities including: Spa Blue, a fitness
center and spa featuring a lap pool and bay-view yoga garden,
a Cyber Center offering a state-of-the-art Internet Business
Center, and a rooftop garden and pool. A full list of concierge
and valet services and a waterside restaurant will be available
to residents as well.
